The Global Mission Team studies, promotes and organizes opportunities to support local, state and world mission efforts. Each fall we host a community wide food packing event for Orphan Grain Train. Salem is committed to combatting hunger. For example, a special offering on communion Sundays goes specifically to hunger projects. We also share in the Christian life and journey with a congregation in Sanya Juu, Tanzania.
